Vidya Balan
Our very own Vidya “Bidya Bagchi” Balan – the unique combination of Glamour and creativity was born on 1st January 1978 in Palghat, Kerala to her father P.R. Balan, is the Vice-President of ETC Channel and her mother is a home-maker. She grew up with her elder sister, Priya, who is married to Kedar. When she was very young, her family relocated to Mumbai and used to stay at Road No. 11, near Ambedkar Garden, Chembur. She completed her schooling from St. Anthony's Convent School, and thereafter she graduated in Sociology from St. Xavier's College. She then went on to pursue a Masters degree in Sociology from Bombay University. Her parents always encouraged her to pursue her career in acting obviously after completing her education. She also studied and performed in Prithvi Theaters' workshops. With her sister Priya, Vidya learned Carnatic dance form during their early childhood days, but she opted out as the dance classes took place early on Sunday mornings ...
