Avril Lavigne
This Canadian singer-songwriter, actress is known for her tomboyish styles of
giving messages through her Pop rock, power pop and pop punk music like and
became a popular music and culture icon in pop world. She was born as Avril
Ramona Lavigne to Judy & John Lavigne on 27th September, 1984 in Belleville,
Ontario though brought up in the small town of Napanee to Ronald Fenty, a
warehouse supervisor, and Monica Fenty, a retired Afro-Guyanese accountant.
At the age of five, her family relocated to Napanee, Ontario. She has been singing
and performing since she was two.
From the very early age she had an interest in music. Seeing her lyrical ability
to encourage her father gave her a microphone, a drum kit, a keyboard, and
several guitars, and modifies their basement as a studio. To explore her talents,
her parents enrolled her name in karaoke sessions at the age of 14 only. She also
began writing her own songs. Her first"cheesy cute" song, "Can't Stop Thinking
About You", made a teenage sensation. She married to Deryck Whibley on 15 July
2006 but their relations not lasted more than 3 years and it broke up in January
2012. In August 2012, Avril announced that she and the Canadian rocker Chad
Kroeger were engaged but that also split in January 2012.

World all gave her worldwide success. Her fifth album has been announced with a
release date rumored for sometime in 2012.

The location of her Live by Surprise Tour was not revealed until 48 hours before
the event commenced. Her second concert tour, The Bonez Tour supported her
second studio album Under My Skin. The Best Damn Thing Promotional Tour
supported third studio album, The Best Damn Thing. The Try to Shut Me Up Tour
supported her Let Go album. The Black Star Tour promoted fourth studio album,
Goodbye Lullaby.
Her inspiration
According to her version she really created her style on her own and that she
didn't really listen to other people's music until after gradeschool. Church choir
gave her great inspiration and influenced her to start her career.
