Jennifer Aniston


The popular American actress, film director, and producer climbed the ladder of
success through her talent, confidence and personal hardships. She was born as
Jennifer Joanna Aniston on 11th February, 1969 to soap opera star John Aniston
and actress Nancy Dow Sherman Oaks, California. From the young age her parents
encouraged her high school interest in drama. The teen sensation achieved wide
fame for her music, her unique style, tons of devoted fans. Her parents moved
to New York City where they divorced when she was 9. The biggest turning point
in point in her life was the offer on the NBC sitcom Friends as Rachel Green. The
show made her a real teen superstar. She played the role for 10 years and earned
$1 million per episode for the last three seasons, till the show ended in 2004.
The series gave her not only Golden Globe and an Emmy Award but a worldwide
name and fame. In 2000 Aniston married to actor Brad Pitt but the divorced in
2005. A lot of speculation is thinking that Pitt had an affair with co-star Angelina
Jolie. In August 2012, Aniston announced her engagement to American actor and
director Justin Theroux, best known for his comedy roles.

She also supports charitable work by launching a non-profit organization
orphanage in Tijuana. Other charities are AmeriCares, Clothes Off Our Back,
Feeding America, EB Medical Research Foundation, Project A.L.S., OmniPeace,
and Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network. Aniston donated $500,000 to
Doctors Without Borders, Haitian health care provider Partners in Health and
AmeriCare and also participated in Hope for Haiti Now telethon.
