Beyoncé
The popular Destiny’s Child, the worldwide superstar climbed the ladder of
success through her talent, confidence and personal hardships. This famous
singer, song writer, record producer, dancer as well as actress was born on 4 th
September 1981 in Houston, Texas to Mathew Knowles, a professional record
manager and Tina Knowles , a costume designer and hair stylist. From the early
childhood, she won many singing and dancing competitions and children's talent
shows and her parents encouraged her by enrolling her name at a series of
elementary and high schools that specialized in music and the performing arts.
Today her group Destiny's Child is one of the world's renowned groups of all time.
In April 2008, she married to the hip-hop mogul Shawn Carter, popularly known
as Jay-z. On 5 August 2011, at the MTV European Music Video Awards Beyonce
revealed her pregnancy with husband Jay-Z and in January 2012 blessed with their
daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.

with Vocals and the Best R&B Song at the 43rd Grammy Awards for "Say My
Name". In 1999 their multi-platinum second album The Writing's on the Wall sold
more than eight million. Her duet with Marc Nelson on the song "After All Is Said
and Done" for the soundtrack of the film, The Best Man, "Independent Women
Part I"for the film Charlie's Angels. The hit singles "Lose My Breath", "Soldier"
and "Cater 2 U" of the fourth album Destiny Fulfilled all are sensational. On 24th
June, 2011 her fourth album 4 released and sold 310,000 copies in first-week
only and after that her pregnancy resulted in an increase in sales of her records,
particularly 4, which had sold around 700,000 copies by August 2011.

Apart from her performances in music world, fashion world also know her by
her designing clothes and official perfumes Heat, , Heat Rush, Pulse and other
collections of sportswear, denim offerings with fur, outerwear and accessories
including handbags and footwear through House of Deréon, and in 2010, she
released her first perfume, Heat. She has signed brands including, L’Oreal, Pepsi.
She, with her band mate Kelly Rowland founded The Survivor Foundation, a
charitable trust to help in natural hazards and later it extended for a multi-
purpose community. She wrote "Stand Up for Love", as the anthem of
World Children's Day to aware and collect funds for children’s. She is famous for
her worldwide philanthropic activities.
