Gemma Atkinson
was born on 16th November, 1984 in Bury, Greater Manchester. She attended
Castlebrook High School where she participated in different school activities
as From the very young age, she had deep interest in sports and still now she
maintains her fitness regime through the daily gym classes as well as boxing
classes twice a week. In her school life she was very popular among her multitude
of friends. It was her mother who inspired and introduced her to the glitz and
glamour of acting and modeling by deceiving her into her first audition. She was
born to be a glamour model. Her natural beauty, sexy blonde hair, radiant eyes,
flawless skin and overall an adorable face quickly made her quite the commodity
in commercial acting and photographic modeling. She has undergone several
surgery to make her in shape. Recently she is widely speculated by media to be
linked romantically with footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and was pictured several
times prompting suggestions that he liked ex-Hollyoaks actresses.

Atkinson has appeared in provocative photoshoots in lingerie and swimwear,
including non-nude topless shots, for men's magazines such as Arena, FHM,
Loaded, Maxim, Zoo Weekly and Nuts. She became a sensation after appearing
in three of the aforementioned magazines in one month, becoming one of the
most prolific celebrity glamour models in the UK. In November 2006, Atkinson
had agreed to become regular "sex and relationships columnist" of Zoo Weekly.
She was widely publicised in calenders yearly since 2006, with the 2008 and 2009
being shot in Thailand, FHM's 100 Sexiest Women list, debuting at number 32
in 2006. She ranked number 46 in AskMen.com's 99 Sexiest Women of 2008.
Gemma became a regular feature of men's mags, released calendars to hang on
boys' bedrooms and became the face of lingerie manufacturers. She has graced
the face of the 2007 British Grand Prix and "On Yer Bike London".

Atkinson also played Goldie Lookin Chain's love interest in their video R'n'B. She
also features on the cover of the single.
She appeared on Celebrity Weakest Link with Marcus Patric in December 2006,
and has recently been seen as a contestant on ITV1's "Soapstar Superstar",
reaching the last four stages.
In 2008 Atkinson made her debut video game appearance in Command &
Conquer: Red Alert 3 in the role of Lt. Eva McKenna and in the same year she
appeared in Peter Pan at the Manchester Opera House alongside John Thomson
who played Captain Hook. In 2009 she reprised in Command & Conquer Red Alert
3: Uprising . Her other remarkable films are- in 2009 Boogie Woogie and gangstar
film Baseline, in 2010 horror film 13Hrs and The Sweet Shop, in 2011 How to Stop
Being a Loser. Her film Airborne had been displayed at the 2011 The Cannes Film
Festival. Her BBC1s Casualty is the British weekly television show and the longest-
running emergency medical drama television series in the world
based around the fictional Holby City Hospital and focuses on the staff and
patients of the hospital's Accident and Emergency Department.

In 2001 Gemma Atkinson was certainly seen a rise in her fame since her debut
on Lisa Hunter’s Channel 4 teenage soap opera Hollyoaks : After Hours, in which
Gemma demonstrated her more provocative side. In 2007, she also appeared in
the hit reality show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! which began in the UK
in November. Her other shows are- Plus One, the pilot series Comedy Showcase,
The Bill, Waterloo Road, Casualty
• Other Interests
She also supports charitable work for breast cancer awareness, the Teenage
Cancer Trust charity and by taking part in the Great Manchester Run, she was
competing on behalf of Manchester's The Christie hospital.
