This popular 19-year-old American actress as well as singer-songwriter was born

as Destiny Hope Cyrus to country singer Billy Ray Cyrus and his wife Tish on

November 23, 1992, in Nashville, Tennessee. Her parents hoped that hoped she

would achieve greatness. Her childhood nickname was Smiley which was later

shortened to "Miley" as she had a cheerful disposition. The world knows her

as Miley Stewart or Hannah Montana. The teen sensation achieved wide fame

for her music, her unique style, tons of devoted fans and a hot fiancé named

Liam Hemsworth. At the age of eight her family relocated to Toronto where her

father took a role in the TV series "Doc” and that show inspired her to act too and

she told her father that she wanted to be an actress. Cyrus played a girl named

Kylie on Doc. At that early age, her singing and acting classes were started at the

Armstrong Acting Studio in Toronto.At age eleven, she got opportunity to caste

as the lead in the Disney Channel "Hannah Montana", children's television series

about a school girl leading a double life as a pop star and the show made her a

real teen superstar.

In February 2008, Cyrus with her friend Mandy Jiroux began posting videos on
their YouTube account and their show (The Miley and Mandy Show) described as
a "YouTube hit".

2011 Gypsy Heart Tour gave her international success.

dance as inappropriate for her age "Party in the U.S.A." at the 2009 Teen Choice
Awards though she established herself as a teen idol.
