nature and mostly own capability, smartness and wittiness, intelligence and
general likeability. She was born on 8th June, 1978 in Medford, Massachusetts to
her parents Costas and Litsa Menounos. She grew up with her younger brother,
Peter. From very young age she worked in Dunkin' Donuts. In heritance she is very
fluent in the Greek language. She completed her schooling from Medford High
School.
Her performance:
In 1995, she started to appear on several beauty pageants and
especially after winning the title of Miss Massachusetts Teen USA and
Miss Teen USA, she became headlines. But she wanted to make it big
in the glamour world. In The United States she is widely popular as
an occasional professional wrestler. As a television presenter and her
appearance as a correspondent for Today, Access Hollywood, Extra,
and abroad for co-hosting the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in Athens,
Greece gave her worldwide fame.

Her remarkable performances in films are: - as a sexy nurse in the film Fantastic
Four in 2005, as Gladys in Fwiends.com in 2006, as the lead role Jennifer in Kickin'
It Old Skool in 2007, as Risandra in In the Land of Merry Misfits, in the year 2008

Her popular T.V shows are Channel One News, Entertainment Tonight, Sabrina,

As a producer:
At the age of only seventeen, she proved herself as a successful producer. She
produced In the Land of Merry Misfits, an independent film fairy tale and directed
Longtime Listener which was an official selection of the Tribeca Film Festival 2006.
Other interest:
She also supports charitable work "Take Action Hollywood!” AIDS crisis inspired
her to create TAH!, a charity that utilizes the power of the entertainment
industry. Maria also created the Cosmo Girl Cup, a national, annual competition
and award given to the group of teens who do the most in their communities to
affect for positive social change and also presented at the Earth Day Network's
Climate Rally in Washington, DC on April 25, 2010. She encouraged people to
go green and threw carrots into the crowd. Menounos acted as the Masters of
Ceremony for the First Annual Los Angeles CureSearch Walk for Children's Cancer
held at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California on October 24, 2010.
