Natalie Portman


This popular actress is widely known for her husky voice, vocal versatility, smart
and mature image. She has drawn much more media attention due to her image
as a sex symbol by an hour-glass figure, flawless beauty, brown eyes and gorgeous
looks.

Natalie was born on 9th June, 1981 in Jerusalem, Israel to a Jewish family where
her father was a doctor and her mother was an artist.

She was excellent in studies and after graduation her academic achievements
pursued her to attend Harvard University.

She first came to the notice of an agent in a pizza parlor at the age of 11. Though
she started her career as a model but later she transited into acting. In 1994, she
got her breakthrough role of a child in Luc Besson's film, Léon: The Professional.

Through her talent, confidence and personal hardships, she performed stunningly
in Developing as Nina, in Heat as Lauren Gustafson, in Beautiful Girls as Marty,

As a producer her films The Other Woman, Hesher, No Strings Attached were
successful.

Her popular television performances were Sesame Street, in 2006 as host
in Saturday Night Live, The Armenian Genocide, documentary film. She

gave her voice to television series The Simpsons for the episodes: "Little Big
Girl", "Moonshine River”.

She was also involved in Theatre by performing Ruthless! in 1994 as Tina
Denmark, in The Diary of Anne Frank 1997 as Anne Frank, The Seagull as Nina in
2001.

Natalie was honored with an Academy Award , Teen Choice Award British
Academy of Film, Television Arts and Broadcast Film Critics Association Awar ,
Online Film Critics Society and Golden Globe Award for the film Black Swan in
the category of Best Actress in 2011 and Boston Society of Film Critics Award in
the year 2010 for the same film, in 2005 Golden Globe Award, San Diego Film
Critics Society Award for the film Closer and in 2004 National Board of Review of
Motion Pictures Award for the same film, in 2006 San Diego Film Critics Society
Award for the film V for Vendetta in 2006, in 2002 Teen Choice Award for the film
Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones.

She is also famous for her worldwide philanthropic activities. She supports the
organization of antipoverty activities, Village Banking Campaign to help families
and communities lift themselves out of poverty. Being a pet enthusiast and
animal health advocate, she works with a number of animal organizations.

In 2005 PETA, animal-rights organization voted her as "World's Sexiest
Vegetarian”. She launched Lifting Lives Temporary Home Fund to help the Lifting
Lives Temporary Home Fund. Her lyrics encouraged her fans to change the world
by giving donation. The children of several organizations are benefited by him.
