Dafne Fernández
as actress, was born on March 31, 1985 in Madrid,
Spain Dafne’s parents, Esmeralda and Ignacio, are a
Psychologist and Chemist. Inspite of such a background
their children were very artistic. Her brother, Jorge,
learned piano for 7 years as a hobby, but now works
with computers. Her sister, Rebeca, decided to go on a
direction chosen by her mother and studied Psychology
but she has learned Spanish dance for 10 years. Dafne
herself has studied dramatic art and dance.
In her personal life she was romantically linked with
Carlos Bardem for 2 years and after that with the tennis
player Fernando Verdasco.

She was associated with the Fama musical. In 2007 she
presented the Spanish Cinema Goya Awards Ceremony
and also her appearance in Naím Thomas's "Caliente"
video clip gave her worldly recognition.
After that she made enough of an impression to land
more work- in 1996 Canguros, Malena es un nombre de
tango, in 1997 Pajarico, in 1998 Resultado final, in 1999
Entre las piernas, Goya en Burdeos, in 2000 Paraíso, Otro
barrio, El, in 2001 Hombres felices and Juego de Luna.

Rebeca in Hospital Central, as Captain Ines Diaz in Joint
Security America were touching yet restrained.
Beautiful reviews were showered upon her for her
performance as Nieves in television series Tierra de Lobos
from 2009 to 2012.
She modeled for several clothing and lingerie brands, and
graced the prestigious Larios calendar.
Dafne Fernández Is also involved in charity, and is the
lead spokesperson for "Un Kilo de Ayuda" (A Kilo of Aid),
a program to help children in Third World countries
started by IUVE a non-profit organization.
