Tina Fey


This “super-nerd" popular American actress, comedian, writer and producer
was born as ‘Elizabeth Stamatina Fey’ on 18th May, 1970 in Upper Darby,
Pennsylvania. The entertainment world love to see her in hilarious comedy
series. She plays the comic role in a competent way. She is the daughter of
Zenobia "Jeanne” a brokerage employee, and Donald Fey, is a university grant-
proposal writer. She completed her schooling from Cardington Elementary School
and later Beverly Hills Middle School in Upper Darby. From the very young age
she was deeply interested in comedy. In 1988, after graduation, she enrolled
her name at the University of Virginia to enrich herself in playwriting and acting,
followed by a Bachelor of Arts degree in drama. After that she went to Chicago to
train herself at The Second City, a training ground for comedians. She established
herself as the lead on the television shows Saturday Night Live through The
Second City .She got the break when she was invited to join the writing as the
writer of "SNL” After dating for seven years she married to Jeff Richmond, a
composer on 30 Rock on 3rd June. They are blessed with two daughters: Alice
Zenobia, Richmond.

She won 26 Awards from 57 nominations. She was honored with 2 WGA Award
for comedy on 25th Anniversary Special of Saturday Night Live, 1 Emmy Award
as a writer. In 2007 she got Emmy Award for the Comedy Series, 30 Rock, in 2008
4 Emmy Award, 2 Screen Actors Guild Awards for Acting in a Comedy Series,2
Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series
for 30 Rock in 2008 and 2009, in 2010 Teen Choice Award for Date Night, Screen
Actors Guild Award for 30 Rock, in 2010 Mark Twain Prize for American Humor,
in 2011 The Comedy Awards for Best Actress in Date Night ,in 2011Critics' Choice
Television Award for 30 Rock.

Throughout her career she has done comedy with the best people in the field.
Her immense talents both in front of and behind the camera made an icon as a
female writers and an influential performer. She is also famous for her worldwide
philanthropic activities. She supports the organization, Autism Speaks, sponsors
autism research. Her other charities include Mercy Corps and the Light the Night
Walk for the benefits of Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. In June 2010, she was
honored with Hollywood Walk of Fame.
