This Academy Award winning actress and producer was born on 26th July, 1964,
in a Virginia suburb of Washington, DC, to a German opera singer and a voice
teacher. She mainly grew up on the road and studied music and dance while she
traveled throughout Europe. First time she appeared on the stage, only at the
age of five and the performance developed her love and passion for the stage
and inspired her to appear regularly in the Nuremburg children's choir. At the
age of 12, after moving back to the D.C. area, she attended Washington-Lee High
School and joined the cheerleader group and school theater productions until her
graduation in 1982.
In 1994, she first became widely known for her role in Speed that gave her
Academy Award for Best Actress and a Golden Globe for her performance in
The Blind Side, based on the true-life story of football player Michael Oher. The
entertainment world love to see her in comedy role such as "Love Potion No.
9" in 1992,"While You Were Sleeping" in 1995 and "Forces of Nature" in 1999
and “Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous" in 2005, She plays the comic role

After several relationships with actor Tate Donovan, football player Troy Aikman,
Austin musician Bob Schneider and actors Matthew McConaughey and Ryan
Gosling, she married to motorcycle icon Jesse James after dating for two years,
in July 2005. The couple became the hottest topic of gossip when several women
claimed to have had affairs with James during his marriage to Bullock and after
continuous stress the marriage ended in divorce on 28th June, 2010, stated with
the reason of conflict of personalities. Despite of, the couple's separation and
then divorce, Bullock adopted a baby, Louis Bardo Bullock, as a single parent.

Her adopted son Louis is her great inspiration and helps influence her work and to
change as an actress since becoming a mother almost two years ago.
Her achievements
Bullock was honored with a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress, a Screen Actors
Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role,
and the Academy Award for Best Actress, for her role as Leigh Anne Tuohy in
The Blind Side. In the 2012 edition of the Guinness Book Of World Records, She is
listed as the highest-paid actress, with $56 million.
She is also famous for her worldwide philanthropic activities. She supports the
organization American Red Cross and the Red Cross's Liberty Disaster Relief Fund
by donating to the organization at least four times. Her other charities include in
response to the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunamis, following the Haiti
earthquake and the 2011 Japan Earthquake. Along with other stars, she signed a
petition for clean-up efforts of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
