Alyssa Milano
She became famous as an American actress, producer and former singer first
performed as the child actor and has spent almost her entire life in the public
eye. Her breakthrough role Tony Danza's daughter on the popular sitcom Who's
the Boss?, which ran for eight years, garnered a reputation as an energetic
and charismatic young actress. She was born as Alyssa Jayne Milano on 19th
December, 1972 in Brooklyn, New York into an Italian-American family where her
father, Thomas, is a film music editor, and her mother, Lin, a fashion designer.
Milano grew up with his younger brother, named Cory. From her childhood
she want to pursue her career in acting. The big turning point came into her
life when her babysitter took her to an audition for a touring production of the
musical Annie, without the knowledge of Milano's parents and she was from 1500
other girls for the role.
She has commented on her love for animals having 3 dogs, 13 birds and 3 horses.

Though she is best known for portraying Phoebe Halliwell on The WB television
series Charmed alongside Holly Marie Combs and Rose McGowanshe got the
break in television as the tomboyish Samantha Micelli on the ABC sitcom Who's
the Boss alongside Tony Danza, Judith Light, Danny Pintauro and Katherine
Helmond which ran from 1984-1992. After gaining reputation, she appeared
in television commercials and off-Broadway productions. In one of her more
prominent TV performances, she portrayed Amy Fisher in Casualties of Love:
The "Long Island Lolita" Story on CBS in 1993, Crash Course, Dance 'til Dawn By
appearing nude in several erotic films and provocative ad campaigns she targeted
at adults, such as Casualties of Love: The Long Island Lolita Story (1993), Embrace
of the Vampire (1994),Confession of a Sorority Girl (1994), Deadly Sins (1995),
and Poison Ivy II: Lily (1996), where she starred opposite Johnathon Schaech
and Xander Berkeley . Her performances in romantic comedy Hugo_Pool and
the thriller Below_Utopia, starring Ice-T was touching yet restrained. Since the
popularity of Charmed, she's appeared in major television ad campaigns and the
comedies Kiss the Bride, Buying the Cow, and Dickie_Roberts:_Former_Child_Star.
People said that she effortlessly slips into the role in the Farrelly brothers' new
film Hall Pass in 2011 and after that, a new role as a loving and devoted mother.
She gained more mainstream success in TV through her performance as Jennifer
Mancini on Melrose Place, Meg Winston in Spin City and most notably as Phoebe
Halliwell on Charmed. She appeared in the ensemble romantic comedy New
Year's Eve. During the animation of The Little Mermaid, her picture was used to
create the lead character,
Her upcoming ABC drama Mistresses about the romantic lives of four women will
release soon.
She has drawn much more media attention due to her exclusive seven tattoos - a
sacred heart on her behind, a fairy kneeling in grass on her hip, rosary beads on
her back, an angel on her left ankle, an Orobous (a snake biting its own tail) on
her right wrist, an "om" on the other wrist and a garland of flowers around her
right ankle.
She made FHM's 100 Sexiest Women in the World list four times, as well as
several other "sexiest women" lists, including AskMen's Top 99 Most Desirable
Women of 2003, 2005, 2006, and 2008.
Alyssa Milano is an accomplished singer and recording artist, though not
successful in her home country of the United States. Her five albums - Look in
My Heart, Alyssa, Do You See Me?, The Best in the World, Locked Inside a Dream
have all reached sales of over one million copies in Japan.
The Look In My Heart album was accompanied by a video release of the same
name that included videos for the 3 singles lifted from the album and a behind
the scenes segment entitled Alyssa's backstage memories.

Alyssa has taken groundbreaking action to protect her rights and the rights of
celebrities on the World Wide Web. She has won several copyright infringement
suits, and has dedicated the settlement money to the launch of a new search
index on the web, Safesearching.com, a global community dedicated to offering a
safe way to get the best entertainment information on the Internet.
She is a lifelong vegetarian and advocate for PETA, protesting the use of fur and
the hunting of seals.
Milano is a fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers and writes a regular baseball blog on
the Major League Baseball's website. She has launched her signature "Touch" line
of team apparel for female baseball fans, selling it through her blog and Major
League Baseball's website and also became available in 2009 through a boutique
store located in Citi Field, the home of the New York Mets. She has an interest
in the Los Angeles Kings, a National Hockey League team, and is involved with a
related clothing line. In 2008, she expanded that to NFL football, as a New York
Giants fans.
She has been tremendously successful in using Twitter as a tool to raise money
for Charity: Water, a nonprofit working to supply clean water to those in need.
On her birthday, she asked her followers to donate money to the charity instead
of purchasing birthday gifts. Today she has raised $92,568 for the charity. These
achievements garnered her 'Do Something' Twitter Award in 2010.
