This popular American actress, model and singer gain worldwide recognization
through her earthy sensuality, striking good looks and wide range of talent. The
famous actress for her role as Mary Camden in the television show in the long-
running family-drama series 7th Heaven, was born on 3rd March 1982.She was
the daughter of Kimberly, a homemaker and spiritual healer and her father
was Jonathan Biel, worked for GE and was also an entrepreneur and business
consultant. She brought up with her younger brother Justin, born in 1985. During
her childhood, her family moved around a lot, living in Texas, Connecticut, and
Woodstock, Illinois, before finally settling in Boulder, Colorado. In her young age
she was very much interested in soccer and also trained as a gymnast.

Biel took dance and voice lessons as a child. "I had a mission as a kid," she
explained to Harper's Bazaar magazine. "I was just one of those kids who begged
and begged. Take me to this commercial-acting class.' 'Take me to this play.' 'Take
me to this audition.' And my parents just supported it." she attended Tufts
University from 2000 to 2002.

In her personal life she was romantically linked with singer and actor Justin
Timberlake but after four years of dating their relationship broke in March 2011.
However eventually the couple reunited, and in late December 2011 and married
on October 19, 2012.

She had deep interest in the musical Annie, the rags-to-riches story of an
orphaned girl, The Sound of Music, and Beauty and the Beast. At the age of 8,
she served as an understudy for a production of the show in Connecticut. She
diverted into modeling around the age of 11. She had done several print works
for products such as Dulux Paint and Pringles and also played the character
Regrettal, a lead role in a low-budget musical short titled It's a Digital World.

After studying her craft for several years, she got her breakthrough role on the
family drama 7th Heaven where she played Mary Camden, the oldest daughter of
a minister. The show became very popular, especially with families.

She has also starred in several films, including Ulee's Gold in 1997 that earnered
her Young Artist Award, I'll Be Home for Christmas, playing the love interest of
Jonathan Taylor Thomas, in the baseball-themed film Summer Catch in 2001, as
promiscuous college student Lara in the ensemble film The Rules of Attraction,
The Illusionist a romantic historical drama that establish Biel as a dramatic
actress, Home of the Brave in 2006, in hotly-anticipated buddy comedy , I Now
Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, co-starring Adam Sandler and Kevin James,
Powder Blue, alongside Forest Whitaker in 2007, Easy Virtue which premiered
in September 2008 at the Toronto International Film Festival. Biel took on a
physically challenging role in the 2012 remake Total Recall starring Colin Farrell.

In 2009, she voiced to the animated science fiction film Planet 51.

In 1999, People magazine named her as one its "50 Most Beautiful People." Gear
magazine put Biel on its March 2000 cover, wearing next to nothing.

Biel is very much famous being supporter of numerous social causes likes Summit
on the Summit, a climb up Mount Kilimanjaro to raise awareness about the global
water crisis. "This is a basic human necessity that needs to be addressed now,"
the actress said in a statement on the program's website. Biel has also established
the Make the Difference Network, a social networking website for charitable
efforts.
