Ashley Greene

This American actress and model widely known for her role as Alice Cullen in

the film adaptations of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight novels. She was born on 21st

February, 1987 in Jacksonville, Florida to her parents Joe, a former US Marine,

and Michele, an insurance broker. In her childhood she is very tomboyish in

nature. She won several awards in activities like taekwondo.

For the betterment of her confidence, her mother enrolled her into modeling

classes. She always considered being a lawyer and getting a degree in psychology.

But destiny had other plans for the youngstar and that was to shine in

entertainment world. Her parents encouraged her very and gave permission to

relocate to LA when she was only seventeen. She excelled in grades which led her

to complete graduation besides acting.

She was the subject of much media attention due to her nude photos that

surfaced on the Internet.

Other interest:

From her school age she is very interested in football and is a Florida Gators fan

and once attended a Green Bay Packersgame against the New York Giants with

Jonas and Jessica Szohr at Lambeau Field in 2010.

She became the face of StopStaring.com, a website that sells retro-style dresses

and a cosmetic brand also. She has been ranked #17 in FHM's "100 Sexiest

Women in the World" of 2011.
