Alia Bhatt was born on the 3rd of March, 1993 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She is an Indian actress and singer. Alia was born to a Hindu father and Muslim mother. She has an elder sister named Shaheen Bhatt who is also an actress. Alia attended Jamnabai Narsee School in Juhu at Mumbai and completed her graduation from Mithibai College in Mumbai with a degree in Mass Media.

She always wanted to become a celebrity since she was young but her parents wanted her to be more conventional so she pursued studies before deciding to take up acting as a profession when she completed college. She did not know how much she would have to work before achieving success in the field of acting but managed to do it anyway due to her hard work

Alia Bhatt, who is currently one of the highest-paid actresses in India, has had a phenomenal career as an actor and producer. Her first acting job was in a Kannada television show called "Jhankaar Beats". She then appeared in her first Bollywood film "Student of the Year" with three other actors. This film was successful and led to her being cast in more films.

In 2016, Alia won her first Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her role in "Udta Punjab". This award led to more recognition and much bigger roles for Alia. The following year she starred in another hit film named "Badrinath Ki Dulhania" which crossed 100 crore rupees at the box office!
